How it works:

The intelligent window is a large ‘impactile’ panel, activated by small shocks created by tapping your fingernail on the screen.
It uses patented technology based on the detection of bulk acoustic waves (BAW). The intelligent window is programmable; making it possible to select which part of the pane is active.
Simultaneously the panel itself, usually a glass plate, can be used as a giant microphone or loud speaker that gives audio recording or transmission capabilities over several square feet of active area.

Practically speaking, this gives the opportunity to describe every product on display behind a shop window, or in a museum, with precision to half a square inch!
